Twenty-one tunes mostly of Canadian origin, particularly Western Canada, played by Bob Poitras - fiddle & Truman Sorenson - guitar. Many of the tunes seem to have been derived from Andy DeJarlis, perhaps the most influential fiddler in the region.

From a cassette tape of home recordings (c. 1975) given to Pete McMahan of Harrisburg, Missouri, by Truman Sorenson of North Dakota. We obtained the tape from Pete McMahan who was a good friend of Truman's. They got acquainted because Pete used to judge the Peace Garden and also some contests in Minnesota at Duluth and Cotton.
